The St Ronan’s games Instituted in 1827, The Games are the oldest organised sports meeting in Scotland and are now part of a ten day festival that incorporates many events for every age group. Central to the festivities are the Cleikum Ceremonies when the town’s association with its Patron Saint, St. Ronan, is celebrated.

Traquair House is 2 miles down the road. Great events, a brewery and a maze, what more can we say.
Innerleithen golf course just to the north of the town, watch out for the cars on the X fairway. Some great biking in the hills around it.

Curly Trails – Mountain biking club based in Innerleithen that offers instruction, coaching and guiding for novices, inexperienced and intermediate riders.

The award winning Latimers Shellfish Deli, a big supporter of us here at Glentrail. If you like fish and shellfish, Latimers are simply the best in the country at what they plus he’s my big brother. We recommend sitting in the deli, eating a made to order seafood platter watching the world go by, it just doesn’t get any better! well maybe one of their smoked haddock pasties at the top of Spooky Wood. Definitely give them a shout.
